Hatchie has only one song in her entire back catalogue and it is making waves
Harriette Pibeam AKA Hatchie is a singer from Brisbane, Australia who has a total of one track in her entire back catalogue so far. And what a song it is.
Hatchie’s debut single, Try, sounds like a blend of Cocteau Twins and The Corrs. It’s breezy, light and very listenable. Wistful vibes in this track combine perfectly with Hatchie’s effortless voice. She sounds like she sung this without trying but we all know that’s not true. If you’re feeling a little low today, this is sure to cheer you up. Hatchie has collaborated with bands such as Go Violets and Babaganouj but this is her first step into solo life, and it seems to be going pretty well.
Just days after uploading her music to Triple J Unearthed she was snapped up by Monster Management to represent her and Pilbeam in Europe. She must be on quite a high right now. After only releasing this single on May 4 2017, Try already has just under 100K streams on Spotify. And as she begins to make waves in the music scene we can only predict huge things for Hatchie.
